What are you tethered to?

bag and picc 001bag and picc 003

The right hand picture shows what I am tethered to 24 hours a day – a bag which pumps penicillin through the picc line shown on the left straight to my heart. It only pumps for 1 hour in every 4 so in fact during the day I can detach and wait for it to scream when my next dose is due – I have dubbed it my baby screaming for it’s next feed.

What it got my thinking about as I was trying to navigate around my office without having to carry it, is how else am I tethered? What mindsets do I have that keep me for instance going to many events that I know would create useful contacts? What thinking makes me so risk adverse?

So my question to you, my blog readers is where are you tethered? Do these tethers benefit you? If they do how can you work around them? If they do not benefit you, what thoughts can you adopt that will free you from them?

If you need help with any of this do not hesitate to contact me for a free trial session in which I can outline a plan of action for you.
